Children and Young People’s Local Transformation Plan

Bury’s Local Transformation Plan for Children and Young People’s Mental Health and Wellbeing - In response to the document ‘Future in Mind’, which focusses on promoting, protecting and improving mental health and wellbeing services for children and young people, a Bury plan of action for the next 5 years has been developed with the help of local children, young people and their families, to transform these services in Bury.

Refresh of the Bury Plan and a Greater Manchester approach

Children and Young People’s Local Transformation Plans were due to be refreshed and republished by 31st October 2016. However, the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership has recognised that some aspects of service planning and delivery will only support improved outcomes when commissioned and delivered more at scale. Bury is working with colleagues across Greater Manchester to develop a Greater Manchester level Transformation Plan by the end of March 2017.  The refresh of local plans will be aligned with this approach, with the Bury plan (current version above) being refreshed and republished to the same timescales.

The following documents serve as a position statement and provide assurance that funding is being used as intended and that transformation is taking place.
