NHS Bury CCG's Governing Body (or Board) oversees the work of the organisation and sets its priorities and direction. The Board members represent the interests of patients, carers and local people.

The Board is made up of NHS Bury CCG's Executive Directors, clinicians and other representatives including a Patients' Champion. It is chaired by Dr. Kiran Patel, our Chair and Clinical Lead.

The Board is supported by a Clinical Cabinet of doctors, nurses, consultants, and other partners, to inform the design and purchasing of local health services, and a Patient Cabinet chaired by the Patients' Champion who sits on the Board, to ensure the views of local people are considered when planning and purchasing services.

Board meetings are held regularly and members of the public can submit questions in advance of the meetings, you can find out more about this process here.

You can access the papers for our Governing Body meetings here.
