NHS information that matters to you

People in Bury who are interested in hearing about and improving local health services can sign up to get involved with their local NHS.

NHS Bury Clinical Commissioning Group’s (CCG) new online engagement tool enables local people to sign up, say how they would like to engage with the CCG and express an interest in which areas they are most interested in hearing about.

By signing up, you will receive invitations to get involved in activities of your choice, including:

  •        Attending meetings and events about local health services
  •            Sharing your views through online surveys or focus groups
  •            Signing up to newsletters to keep up to date with the CCG’s work

To express an interest in finding out more about Bury CCG’s work, simply complete the short online form on the CCG’s website http://www.buryccg.nhs.uk/getinvolved

Dr Kiran Patel, Chairman and Clinical Lead for NHS Bury CCG, said: “Local people have a key role to play in helping to shape local health services. There are lots of ways people can get involved, give us their views and tell us what is important to them.  Together we can improve health services now and in the future.

“I would encourage Bury residents to spend a few minutes of their time completing the online form, which asks them about their specific health interests and the ways they’d like to be contacted by the CCG.  Once signed up, we can then send you information about the health topics and events you are really interested in.”

For people who do not have access to the internet but would like to get involved, please contact 0161 762 3106 and the CCG will take your details. Alternatively, you can access computers with internet access at your local Bury library. It is advised to book a computer slot in advance by phoning the library.

You can also find out more by calling us on 0161 762 3106 or by emailing buccg.communications@nhs.net.
